Management, engineering and construction management consultant to clients with commercial, recreational, industrial and manufacturing projects. Serve as the administrative Vice President (accounting, insurance, personnel, employee benefits, taxes, procurement and safety) of Ronson Constructors L.L.C. (Lufkin, Texas).   Vice-President of Clima-Range, a company engaged in specialized recreational facilities. Responsibilities include  administration, engineering, manufacturing and construction. Serve as an expert witness to the legal community in construction/engineering disputes. As a member of the American Arbitration Association's Panel of Neutrals, served as a single arbitrator or as a panel member for construction cases involving a multistory parking garage, offshore oil platform, renovation of and addition to a chemical plant, a large residence, an Air Force Base fuel system, and construction of a gymnasium. Parties to the disputes included  subcontractors, general contractors, engineers, bonding companies and owners.

Managed three construction divisions (Industrial, Commercial, and Municipal) and six departments (Estimating, Finance/Accounting, Personnel, Procurement and Safety) with a annual volume of approximately $70 million and approximately 1200 employees.

Supervised project managers and general superintendents for design/build and construction projects.  Managed projects in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas, up to $35 million. Wrote, negotiated and approved Lump Sum, Guaranteed Maximum Price and Cost Plus a Fee contracts. Evaluated and approved engineering and technical specifications for process equipment. Ensured projects were completed safely, on schedule and within budget. Prepared monthly cost and financial reports projecting final outcomes of projects.

Supervised project managers, general superintendents and managed a staff of 1000 construction employees on design/build projects. Responsible for directing and coordinating business development, engineering, estimating, procurement, and construction. As senior operations manager for design/build projects, prepared and made presentations to potential clients.

Managed all phases of the Company including administrative, marketing, operations and financial matters for industrial general contractor involved in constructing pulp and paper, chemical, petrochemical and waste water treatment, land clearing, earth moving street paving and bridge projects. Performed all detailed engineering designs including structural pipe supports, miscellaneous foundations, site drainage facilities, miscellaneous steel structures and piping. Organized the company and directed it*s growth to an annual volume of$ 15-million. Designed and implemented a system that enabled the company*s personnel department to locate and hire up to 200 temporary construction workers for plant shut downs with as little as seven days duration.

Responsibilities included engineering, equipment procurement and construction of pulp and paper projects lasting up to two years, costing as much as $200-million, and employing as many as 2,000 persons. Negotiated with governmental agencies to obtain permits and ensure design and installation complied with environmental laws and regulations.
